Steward at the festival

Be part of the public face of Wimpole History Festival and help us to welcome thousands of visitors for a weekend of heritage and fun as part of a unique partnership between Cambridge Literary Festival and the National Trust. We are currently looking for stewards to help out with this year’s festival, which will take place: Thursday 20 – Sunday 23 June, 2019.

Why we need you

Stewards are essential to the smooth running of the festival and they will work with a Head Steward to ensure that audiences fully enjoy the festival. Stewards’ tasks may include setting up venues, directing audiences, managing book-signing queues, distributing programmes, manning the Green Room, and keeping venues tidy. Shifts are usually 4-5 hours long.

What’s in it for you

In addition to the fun of stewarding you will be allowed free access to festival events that have not sold out, when you’re not on duty.
